"You're the only one who can pull yourself out of the abyss. No one else. The thing I've learnt in my life is that you have to give it time. Your problems won't solve themselves right now. Chances are you're in such a bad state that you won't be able to change it either. If you chase normality, it'll run away faster. It's like the red apple thing. Someone tells you to not think of a red apple, and that's all you can do.

You just have to hang in there. Whatever it takes, it's okay. Things will change. It's impossible for them to remain constant forever.

That's easier said than done. No. What I'm saying is stop thinking about it all the time. Let go. Let things take their course. Whatever happens, you'll accept it. Maybe you'll even change it. But if you don't give yourself enough attention now, you won't be in a state to be able to change it later."

You said this to a suicidal person once. And these words have kept them hanging for this long. :)
