Absolutely. The demand for fair skin is most definitely another form of internal racism in India. There's a lot discrimination dark-skinned people face in the country, and in areas where dark-skinned people dominate, there's a sort of reverse-racism, where fair-skinned people are targeted and bullied. It's problematic - right down to the core.
