In an ideal world, arranged marriages should not exist. But India is still conservative in many places where young boys and girls are not encouraged to talk to each other. In such situations, when you repress the sexuality of a person all their childhood, it’s difficult for many people to find a partner on their own — that’s where arranged marriages are helpful for many people.
