I love how you say we can share anything on YouTube without the paywall. If Medium removes the paywall, it will have to introduce ads (and introduce a subscription system to remove ads, much like YouTube). That could work, but who knows what Medium is up to, anyway!!

Come on, Indelible Ink has so many loyal readers. It might not be a community the size of PSILY (with their mass-appeal content), but it's still a sizeable audience. That's always there to be proud of.

Regarding Medium not promoting CNF, I don't think it's got anything to do with Medium, but more to do with the readers. The average reader on Medium is the skimmer who opens the app on their phones while they are in the loo or traveling to work. For a person with that kind of attention span, easy-to-skim articles with a clickbait title and broke into easily consumable chunks (sections) works the best.

I agree Medium could build a better search option. I hope they work on it. :)
